These dog memoirs are works of fiction. Dogs don’t write much – other than peemail – and they publish even less. They can read our souls, but their spelling is nothing to write home about.
Speaking dog is not about rolling your tongue to produce silly sounds. Even puppies know that the tongue is for panting, tasting, cleaning your privates, and puppy kisses. In that order.
Speaking Dog is about watching, smelling, and feeling each other into your hearts. That’s why dogs don’t lie. How can you lie when you taste someone’s tears, lean against their thighs and listen to their heart? Dog language has no room for deception, like human languages do.
These books are my love letters to the dogs who make the world a better place. I hope you have as much fun reading them as I did writing them. They enriched my life. I hope they enrich yours too.
Who’s next? Let me know whose story you’d like to read. I may just write it! But in the meantime, don’t forget to sign up for my newsletter, if you haven’t already.
You’ll get a great story – Mom’s story, which I love – and future updates on new releases and freebies. How can you pass on that?
And keep in touch, will you? I’d love to hear from you.
